Stay Beautiful: Chapter Two

Later that night at band practice right before the band performs

"So do we have any idea what to call our band yet? We kind of have to on stage in like an hour." Sam said as he looked up from where he was adjusting the frets on his guitar. "No clue." Brendan said as he was checking up on some microphones and making sure they were working. Just then Finn came in he was grinning as he walked over to his band mates sans Sam who was  still checking over his guitar and they all nodded, giving glances to Sam then back to Finn understanding very well what the very excited brunet planned to do.  "Hey Sam, come 'ere and take a seat." Finn said as he pointed to an old crate.  "Just sit back and listen, don't say a peep." He told then adjusted the microphone to his frankenstein height level.

"Sunday morning at the door. You were coming back for more. We were kicking it all around. I was looking in your eyes. You thought it was justified. You said, m-m-m-m-more." He started as he heard two of his band mates, Lindsey and Grace start up on the guitar and bass parts while Brendan took up the drum part. "Don't stop, Don't change, Stay beautiful. One life, Today, You're irresistible. Get up, Get out, Stay wonderful. All this time is waiting for you. Don't stop, Don't change, Stay beautiful. " he sang as he stopped tapping his foot to let the band part play sneaking a glance at Sam's totally shocked face, he looked away again. "Poison kisses in the rain you were calling out my name. Laughing like the joke was on me." He sang glad to hear the outbreak of the next part from Taylor. "Always on me." Taylor sung." Singin.....Ba da da ba da da Ba da da ba da da Ba ba ba ba da." Finn came back in as the chorus started up again. Taylor's sharp cry of Oh! To bring it to it's start.  "Don't stop, don't change, Stay beautiful. One life, Today, You're irresistible. Get up, Get out, Stay wonderful. All this time is waiting for you. Don't stop, Don't change, Stay beautiful." He told and couldn't help throwing his fist up into the air. "Post cards, throwing darts, sidekicks and super marts. Break dance, second chance, I will run to you. Sideways, back and forth, wake up, hit the floor. Oh no, where'd you go, it will come to you!" Finn sang, his hands were shaking as they gripped the microphone so hard the knuckles white. "One more, day like this One more, poison kiss One more, hand to fist I will run to you." Finn sang, glancing up again to look at Sam and felt excitement well inside his stomach at the smile on the others face. "Always, first in line always, on my mind always, doing fine. It will come to you! Ba da da ba da da Ba da da ba da da Ba ba ba ba da!"  He sang with a renewed vigor in his voice. "Don't stop, Don't change, Stay beautiful,One life, Today, Your irresistible Get up, Get out, Stay wonderful All this time is waiting for you." Finn sang as he noticed how Sam seemed to be giddy with joy as he listened. " Don't stop, Don't change, Stay beautiful,One life, Today, Is undeniable. Get up, Get out, Stay wonderful. All this time is waiting for you. All this time is waiting for you…." Finn let the last of the song flow out and just as it was finished he saw Sam come up to him, flushed.

"I..I've never done anything like this Finn…So..we're gonna have to take this slow….but…. Nga mokri si txe'lan 'ekong nìwin." Sam said with a soft smile, his blush so heated now it went up to his ears. "Nga yawne lu oer." Sam told and looked to Finn's confused face "I think I..I.....I love you." He whispered, repeating the last bit in english before placing a soft kiss to Finns lips. Once the kiss broke the brunet grinned from ear to ear and just hugged Sam to himself. "What did the first part mean?" Finn asked and Sam only chuckled. "I'll tell you later Finn." He whispered into the others ear and kissed down his neck.  "I think I have the perfect name for our band." Finn told then whispered to everyone and they all nodded it fit seeing that Brendan was dating Taylor and Lindsey was seeing Grace, now with Sam having said yes to Finn, the name made sense.

At the start of the concert

Finn made sure everyone got up onto the stage before grinning at the others for a second. "Hello Gordon College! We are Out, Proud and Open!" Finn shouted and heard the excited crowds screams as the music started up.....
